Refund Policy

Ares2 Esports utilizes a Future-Only Prorated Refund model for all Council memberships. This ensures you are only ever charged for the time you have had access to our community services.

Summary of Refund Terms

Elapsed Time: Any time spent as a member prior to the moment of cancellation is considered “used” and is strictly non-refundable.

Remaining Balance: Refunds are calculated exclusively based on the remaining full days in your current billing cycle after cancellation is finalized.

Immediate Revocation: To receive a prorated refund, access to all digital perks and Discord channels is revoked immediately upon processing.

1. No Backdated Refunds

Ares2 Esports LLC does not offer backdated refunds. If you choose to cancel your subscription, the refund calculation begins at the timestamp of your formal request or cancellation via your account dashboard. We cannot offer refunds for previous days or weeks of “inactivity” if the subscription was active during that time.

2. How Proration is Calculated

Our billing system (Stripe) determines the daily rate of your subscription. The refund amount is the daily rate multiplied by the number of future days remaining in your billing cycle.

  • Example: If you are on a 30-day monthly plan and cancel on Day 10, you will be eligible for a refund for the 20 remaining days. The 10 days of elapsed time are non-refundable.

3. Non-Refundable Fees

Please note that any transaction fees charged by third-party payment processors (such as Stripe) at the time of the original purchase are non-refundable and may be deducted from the final prorated amount.

4. Cancellation Options

When you decide to end your Council membership, you have two distinct choices:

  • End of Term: You keep your access until the end of your cycle. No refund is issued, and no further charges will occur.
  • Immediate Prorated Refund: Your access is terminated immediately, and a refund for the unexpired portion of your term is issued to your original payment method.
