the origin

The Ares2 Esports Story.

An esports organization built for the community, through the community. We grow with your support and are committed to give by to our creators.
founder

Chandler Pickett

Singular owner based out of Central Florida. He’s always loved video games and competitive esports. Now looking to grow the community and develop an esports org from the ground up.

No investors. No co-founders. Just focus, grit, you, and a plan that shouldn’t work.

The name

Chandler, the founder is an Aries, born on the second. Ares is the Greek god of war. Aries is the sign of the ram. Together, they double. A promise to bring the full weight of one person’s obsession to the thing.

The premise

Most esports organizations start with six figures of investor money and still fail. Ares2 starts with zero dollars with the mountain ahead.

That constraint isn’t a weakness. It’s the whole point. It forces honesty. It forces focus. It forces the kind of storytelling most orgs never have the nerve to do.

The model

Revenue comes from three stacked engines: the Council, a tiered membership program built on community participation, not ownership. The Creator Partner Program, a revenue-share structure that turns creators and streamers into growth partners. And monetization, the long game but when profitable a key part of Ares2.

No individual donor ever acquires equity. No Council vote is legally binding. What members get is real influence through non-binding polls, the cosmetic and directional decisions that make this feel like a shared build. Legal clarity, genuine participation.

The stakes

The target is specific: a fully funded Apex Legends roster in the ALGS North American Pro League. Three players at competitive salary. One coach. A travel reserve for LAN events. All paid from recurring revenue the org earns.

In Year 1, we build the vehicle. In Year 2, it carries a roster. In the meantime, we are expanding, new creators, new rosters, new competitive scenes. Everything happens in the open.
